Imagine a string with the chakra color coming from the center of the earth and connecting to your Chakra, feel how slowly it fil's your chakra with pure energy. When you feel that your chakra is full of energy it is time to switch. start imagining the negative energy that sits in your chakra is flowing back to the earth and how slowly your chakra is cleansing itself from negative energies, keep that picture for few more minutes.

A chakra can be considered as an energy point or force in the body that tries to govern different physical, mental and spiritual functions in an individual. The third chakra is the Manipura or the "city of sparkling jewels". This chakra is located in the spinal column somewhere in the lumbar junction of the L1 and T12 vertebras. It is said to affect the digestive system, the adrenal glands as well as the sympathetic and the parasympathetic systems of the body. This chakra is attributed to power, ego, self-confidence, strength and good assimilation and digestion.

The fourth chakra is the Anahata or "unstruck". This chakra is located in the spinal column somewhere in the center of the chest. It is said to affect the cardiovascular, respiratory system as well as the muscular system. If this chakra is afflicted in the body, it is said to lead to respiratory disorders, heart problems, and low immunity. There is also the Vishudh chakra or "purification". It is the fifth chakra and it is located in the spinal column somewhere at the C7 vertebrae. It is said to affect the thyroid and parathyroid glands, as well as the function of the throat including the voice, ears, sense of hearing. Attributes to this chakra include the transformation of thoughts into speech, better ability to speak or sing, and the acute sense of hearing. If afflicted, this chakra may cause thyroid imbalance, restriction in the voice as well as the inability to comprehend and understand.
The Ajna, or "command" chakra is said to be located in the mid-center of the brain somewhere at the top of the spinal cord. It governs the autonomic nervous system, pineal gland, and the pituitary gland. This chakra is also said to be attributed to the sense of intuition, higher level of mind and wisdom that is beyond normal intellect.

What exactly is meditation? It seems that so many people nowadays are hooked up with this form of activity. By definition, meditation is often used to describe the individual's state of intense attention on an object of awareness or thought. The individual tries to turn his or her attention inward. Meditation is said to be of Vedic Hinduism origin. This is usually practiced in the eastern religions but now even the western culture is already involved in such activity.
People want to practice meditation so that they can focus their mind to God for their personal development, to attain peace of mind, and to be healthier.
Many people are now involved in some form of meditation. According to Time Magazine, there is one meditation practice that can be used by almost anyone. This can be considered as the basic primer of people wanting to begin meditation but have no idea where to start.
Almost every individual who starts with anything new to him or her will often has lingering questions, hopes, and doubts about it. There are even people who hope that when they begin to meditate, they will be enlightened. Or perhaps you're one of those individuals who think that meditation is just like an exercise or diet that you've been trying to do for the past few months. But these things are normal; so don’t be surprised if you're also like that.
The best thing to do is to face all the positive and/or negative expectations, and after doing so, forget about them and start with a clean slate. If you want to try the 8-minute program of meditation, you should learn how to approach it one minute at a time.
While many people think that meditation is a simple practice, then you'd better think twice. You might not notice it, but your mind is always racing from here to there. You can't concentrate. You must watch your breath. This is the very first step to meditation. Do your inhalation and exhalation by breathing deeply. If you always do this and just keep on practicing, you can become good at the practice of meditation.
As a word of reminder, if you catch yourself thinking about other things, or in other words, your mind strays off, focus again on your breathing with compassion and love towards your "always running" mind. After all, meditation is all about concentrating and if you realize that you're not on the right track, you can always return to that state of mind gently. One simple form of Meditation requires you to sit in a quiet room, either on a pillow, or cross-legged on the floor, or in a comfortable chair, making sure your spine is straight. It is advised that you use the same place every day. It is also suggested that you personalize your spot, by beautifying it with candles, flowers, and pictures of the people that you love.
The idea of this Meditation is to sit quietly, with your eyes closed, and focus on a point inside of your forehead. Try not to think of anything in particular, but don't try 'not' to think either, allowing your mind to become calm, and peaceful. If you find that your mind is 'chattering', don't try to control it, just let it finish what it is that it is working on, it will eventually quiet down. It is also recommended for beginners to begin with ten to twenty-minute sessions, each day. After a while of doing this, you will start to feel deep relaxation and joy during these sessions.
The first step to this self-hypnosis Meditation is to sit in a quiet, comfortable spot, making sure you are facing a wall about eight feet away from you. Pick a spot or object on that wall, and make that spot or object your focal point. Looking at your focal point, begin counting backward from 100, one number for each breath you exhale. As you do this, imagine yourself floating, and feeling very relaxed. You will begin to feel your eyelids getting heavy, and may begin to blink. Let your eyes slowly close, and as you continue to count backward, imagine yourself as limp as a ragdoll, totally relaxed, and floating in a safe and comfortable place. Stop counting, and just float in your space. If any disturbing thoughts should come while in your space, just let them flow out again, and allow yourself to continue to feel safe and relaxed. This technique can help you to cope with stress, and discharge the tension that accumulates during stressful situations.
When you are ready to come out of this self-hypnosis Meditation, you can either let yourself drift off to sleep, or you can count from one to three and exit. First, count one, and get yourself ready to exit. At two, take a deep breath, and hold for a few seconds. At three, exhale and open your eyes slowly. As you open your eyes, continue to hold on to that relaxed and comfortable feeling you got from the Meditation.
You may then want to increase the length of your sessions to thirty minutes, or maybe even an hour. In our highly active lifestyles of today, it is imperative that we include a brief time for meditation in our daily schedule.

Also known as a Himalayan bowl or cup gong, a singing bowl is a musical instrument used in Buddhist meditation that dates back to centuries ago. They are traditionally played in Tibet, Nepal, India, China, Japan, and Korea, mostly by Buddhist monks and in monasteries.
The singing bowl is made of metal, often including precious metals such as silver and gold; other feature in many bowls’ metallic makeup includes copper, tin, zinc, lead, iron, and nickel. Commonly, the singing bowl can be made of many different metals.
The singing bowl is played by hitting, striking, or slowly rubbing or stirring a wooden striker or mallet within or on the top of the outer surface of the bowl. The bowl will produce a continuous harmonic sound when done correctly. This sound is said to be relaxing and good for the chakras, a form of meditation. At present, a singing bowl is used for yoga, healing, sound massage, sound therapy, chakra balancing, and other forms of meditation.
Singing bowl come in different shapes, sizes, designs, colors, carvings, and crafts. Some may be found with various religious themes and symbols like the Tibetan mantra chant Om Mani Padme Hum, dragon carvings, mandala carvings, Buddhist religious symbols, and many more. The art of making traditional bowls is considered a lost art, most old bowls contain very little or no ornamentation at all.
The bowls are mostly hand made, apart from some tools used for shining and polishing, and fall into two categories: the hand-hammered (beaten) singing bowl, mostly coming from Nepal and India, and are manufactured in the traditional processes; and the colored, carved and crafted bowl, which is popular for gifts, decorations, and souvenir items, mostly coming from the Himalayan country, Nepal.
Today, the singing bowl has become so famous, that even those who don’t really meditate have it in their houses for displays and decorations. They can’t really be blamed as this singing bowl comes in such fascinating and exquisite designs. However, for some of those who use the singing bowl for a much higher purpose, like meditating, see it as an icon for human spirituality, representing human spirit as a vessel containing not only the limiting nature of who and what we are.
The outward or surface appearance of a singing bowl represents our constantly changing nature; we are never the same from one moment to the next as events and interactions cause separate and additional changes within us. Some events may cause important changes to who we are, and others may just create a subtle effect that buries within us, whatever change it may have on us, the designs of the singing bowl that we choose, is a representation of who and what we are. Whether we have them for decorations or use them for meditations, it will always be a symbol of human spirituality.

There are many stories about hypnosis and hypnotherapy being dangerous, turning people into chickens, people not being able to wake up, and unscrupulous hypnotists exploiting their 'vulnerable' patients. However, there are many people who are adamant that it has helped change their lives, helping them succeed in their goals. Millions of people swear that it has helped them with many issues such as weight loss, quitting smoking, other addictions, confidence, phobias, stress, success, IBS, and many more issues.

Can I be hypnotized? Most people can go into a hypnotic trance. The only types of people that cannot be hypnotized are ... 1. Those suffering from psychosis or a thought disorder 2. A person does not want to be hypnotized. It is very easy to resist hypnosis if you want to. What is a hypnotic trance? It is a normal and natural state that most of us experience several times a day. It commonly happens when people are driving. Have you ever driven somewhere and not really remembered the journey? It also often occurs when reading a book or watching TV. Sometimes you can be so absorbed in the book or TV programme that you are not consciously aware that someone is talking to you. Hypnosis is the focusing of conscious attention in such a narrow corridor of influence. The conscious mind is so intensely focussed that other influences are not being critically analyzed by the conscious mind. We still hear them, although we are not always aware. A good example of this is when you are in a place where there are several conversations going on at once. They may all sound like a mass of background noise. However, if someone in one of those conversations mentions your name, you then consciously focus on that conversation. How did you know someone said your name? Your subconscious mind (which is far more powerful than your conscious mind) was listening to EVERY conversation AT THE SAME TIME! That is perhaps a reason why you can sometimes "just know" something. Your subconscious mind has absorbed it without you consciously being aware.
What does hypnosis feel like? When in a trance you feel more mentally and physically relaxed. It is a very pleasant experience, and you can tell that you are still in control. You can still hear exactly what is going on around you unless you choose to drift your attention away. You become aware that you can easily stand up, talk, or move whenever you want. A lot of people (me included) when they first experience a hypnotic trance move their fingers or hands in order to test whether they can move at will. Sometimes a patient can be a little difficult to wake up. This is not a sinister thing as it has been portrayed. No one has ever been stuck in trance. It is more a case that a patient just "can't be bothered" to wake up as it feels so pleasant. However, they soon become bored and will wake up pretty soon. One trick the old hypnosis pro's use is to tell the patient that they are charging for the time. It's amazing how quickly they then wake up!
Is hypnosis dangerous? A hypnotic trance is actually a very natural state that almost everyone goes into several times per day. In 1955 the British Medical Association set up an inquiry which favorably reported hypnosis as a therapeutic tool. It even recommended that it should be taught at medical schools. Hypnosis was also approved by the Council of Mental Health of the American Medical Association in September of 1958 as a safe practice with no harmful side effects. Since then there has been an acceleration in the establishment of hypnosis societies for doctors, dentists, and psychologists. No one has been seriously hurt with hypnosis.
Can I be made to do things against my will? You could never be made to do anything against your will or contrary to your value system. If this was actually possible, would there not be criminals learning the art of hypnotherapy in order to hypnotize their bank managers to opening the vaults and handing over a large sum of cash?! In a trance, you would not unknowingly reveal your deepest secrets. You can even lie when in a trance, which is one reason why testimony in hypnosis is not permissible evidence in a court of law. It is only used by police to help with the investigation. A person will only act upon suggestions that serve them in some way or reinforce an expected behavior, anything else their subconscious will just ignore. Most people develop these misperceptions from seeing or hearing about a Stage Hypnosis show. However, they largely achieve their results from showmanship, selection of the more extrovert people, and peer pressure.
How long will it take before I notice a change? In one session, you can expect to become more relaxed than you are right now. Most people do not relax enough, and some people never seem to relax! Being more relaxed can help most mental and physical problems that you may have. I have often heard of patients report back to that people noticed that they seemed more relaxed after just one session. In the past, I have significantly helped problems such as IBS, skin complaints, and addictions, simply by doing relaxation work. Hypnosis can bridge the gap between your head and your heart, making your goals much more emotionally compelling, and therefore increasing your chances of permanent change. Depending upon the intensity of your session and the number of times you have listened to the recording, you will notice suggestions for the desired behavioral changes spontaneously popping into your conscious mind almost immediately.

Binaural beats were first discovered in 1839 by Heinrich Wilhelm Dove. However, Dove didnët realize the full potential of this technology, he merely observed that it occurred. It was another 134 years before Gerald Oster penned an article called "Auditory Beats in the Brain" which was published in Scientific American in 1973.
It was proposed that a binaural beat occurs in the brain if you apply slightly different frequency sine waves independently but simultaneously to each ear. This beat effect is created by the brain itself and is largely due to the structure of the brain's internal wiring.
These binaural beats are auditory brainstem responses, originating in the superior olivary nucleus of each hemisphere of the brain due to the interaction of the two different impulses.
The frequency of the two tones is between 0.5 and 42 Hz. Let us take the example that the difference between the two tones is 10 Hz. This 10 Hz difference is experienced within the superior olivary nuclei as a beat. The brain has a tendency, through the frequency following response, to resonate at the same frequency as the auditory stimuli being presented. In our example, this would be 10 Hz, which is the frequency of the Alpha state. If we offer a binaural frequency of 5 Hz, the brain will begin to resonate with that and produce Theta brainwaves. If we present a binaural beat of 3 Hz, Delta brainwaves are detected. Alpha, Theta and Delta brainwaves are connected to altered states of consciousness that can be used to reprogram the subconscious mind, eliminate negative thought schemas and release emotional connection to memories.
In laymanís terms all this means is that you can relax, put on some stereo headphones and let your mind synchronize with the binaural beat frequency to create real measurable changes in your mind and body.
